Our Take

Floor-to-ceiling glass on Morris Street, looking out at the roundabout. Big room. Bar in the center. Open kitchen off to the side. Street level of M Station — Sanofi is above. 11am on a Friday and it’s quiet.

We’ve been here three or four times now.

The focaccia ($14) is whipped ricotta, market conserva, olive relish. Add the prosciutto ($8). The wings ($15) are smoked then fried — lime slaw, peanuts, chili fish sauce. The crab and jalapeño pasta ($33) uses housemade linguine. It’s cooked right.

The bar runs a full cocktail menu. The Sweater Weather ($18 — reposado, blood orange, Cointreau, ginger) is better than the Paper Plane. The Paper Plane is fine.

Lunch has a double smashburger. Overheard someone call it burger hour. Worth coming for specifically.
